Thanks to my wonderful friend Sara M Rosensteel and her equally wonderful blog Sugar Bee VA I got inspired to actually bake something myself. Now, just to clarify, I am nowhere(!) near Sara’s talent, and I doubt I ever will. I have not enough patience,  by back starts hurting after a while and in general I like eating cake and cookie batter too  much.

BUT I actually managed to create some whoopie pies that looked and tasted decent. I did not adjust the recipe so I ended up with three batches … two if which I took to work. I assume my co-workers were happy. I also assume that they would have been much happier with Sara’s creations … but hey, she is available and takes orders if you so desire!
