TRAK Records and Library is recruiting for an Archivist for a large organization in Washington, DC. This position is a contract position, six months in duration, responsible for writing findings of archival descriptions. The candidate should have demonstrated knowledge of archival cataloguing and records management theory and practice. Experience with electronic records management preferred. Familiarity with data structure standards relevant to the control of archival collections (e.g. EAD, Dublin Core, ISAD G, MARC 21). This position offers a very competitive salary.
